Thanks, Ian. I'll stick to the console for changes. You take all the fun out of it ;)

You can find the configuration files in /var/opt/MarkLogic on a Linux or Solaris box, and in Program Files\MarkLogic\Data on a Window box. I should point out, for the record, that direct manipulation of these files is not a supported operation. It's not very hard to create an inconsistent or illegal configuration. On a cluster, it's downright easy. And the server will not react well to an inconsistent or and illegal configuration. :-) It may do very unpredictable and undesirable things... ian ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Hartwig, Brent (CL Tech Sv) Sent: Wednesday, October 08, 2008 9:02 AM To: General Mark Logic Developer Discussion Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Where does the admin console store theconfiguration values? Hello, Might I trouble someone to point out where the MarkLogic configuration values are stored, those set via the admin console? I am interested in the ability to compare these values from multiple ML instances. Thank you in advance. -Brent
