Eric, These functions have to do with snippeting search results. Many people have their own implementation, and they were commented out because the functionality of them were not quite as easy-to-use as I wanted them to be, and never had a chance to update the code. Because they are essentially standalone functions, you can use the attached MarkLogic 3.2 0.9-ml code as the latest implementation that I have for it, which I feel pretty good about, and I personally use. Others may have their own personal implementations that they use for snippeting.

Is it just me, or are the following functions intentionally commented out of the latest lib-search release? summarize-result get-words process-matches transform-match http://xqzone.marklogic.com/svn/lib-search/trunk/release/lib-search.xqy The comment starts at line 278, and doesn't finish at 286 but further along at 349 with a seemingly deliberate closing ":)" Page 27 of the lib-search documentation references the summarize-result function, which is hidden within these comments. Can anyone shed some light on this? Eric _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://xqzone.com/mailman/listinfo/general
