Hi Bob,

I observed the same issue after applying various security database changes from 
Xquery, and ended up writing verification code for it. I initiated the 
following thread about this problem, but failed to get a consistent test case.

If you do are able to write a consistently failing test case, please submit the 
issue together with the test case to [email protected].

Note: I have done some updates of MarkLogic Server since and have never 
observed the same issue after that.
