Hi Geert;

I am a little concerned doing that for the following reason. I see that
each time a forest is added in that manner, a new database.xml is
created. When the configuration gets changed in our environment, it is
written across a 14 node cluster. The cluster may be very busy at that
time.

In the past when making multiple configuration changes very quickly,
some configuration information was lost.

We need to make a forest detach and attach of 16 forests to support our
current architecture. It needs to be done in a quick and seemless
fashion.

Thanks

Stan

database

Hi Stan,

You can call the function multiple times. As long as you do so in a
single request, it is all handled in the same transaction.

Kind regards,
Geert
