Rahul,
I noticed that both of the request fields that are returning empty have names
starting with a capital letter ("Year" and "Title"). I believe field names are
case-sensitive, so if your calling code is using lower case field names ("year"
and "title"), this could be causing your problem.

Rahul,
Based on the error message, it seems like the error is coming from the
call to xdmp:node-uri. It looks like your cts:search is returning
empty, which isn't allowed as an input to xdmp:node-uri.
