Spike,

I think what you're looking for is an element-value query
<http://developer.marklogic.com/pubs/4.1/apidocs/cts-query.html#cts:element-value-query>.
This will allow you to match against the text content of an element. There
additional options for things like diacritics and wildcards as well. Hopefully
this helps.

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] RE: fields where the contents is a URL

Hi Spike,

I am not that familiar with Fields, but I have seen similar behaviour with
other searches. This usually indicates you are not doing exact searches. Have
you tried adding "exact" as an option? Otherwise it might assume the passes
search string is a phrase and apply cts:tokenize on it..

Kind regards,

Geert
