Hi Wayne,
I was wondering whether or not the node-replace function actually results in creating deleted fragments. In the case that merges are required, there are times when we will manually initiate a merge to free up space before the automated merge can get around to doing so. The system will do merges automatically, assuming you haven't disabled them. You shouldn't need to manually initiate a merge. You can look at the database status in the Admin UI to see the number of deleted fragments that have not yet been merged away. Wayne.
