Do you mean using MarkLogic Server as an HTTP client?

xquery version "1.0-ml";
declare namespace http="xdmp:http";
xs:int(xdmp:http-get("http://www.marklogic.com";)[1]/http:code)

http-get, for example, returns a sequence of two items: the first is the HTTP
metadata, the second is the actual payload.

Hi Folks,

What is the best way for using xquery and MarkLogic extensions to simply obtain
and check the value of an HTTP response code?

Thank you!
