Mathieu, Your reading of the docs is correct. The Search API in MarkLogic Server 4.2 allows for geospatial constraints on points, circles, and boxes. To constrain using a polygon using the Search API you'll have to plug in a custom constraint. You can learn more about custom constraints in the Search Developer's Guide (section 2.5) <http://developer.marklogic.com/pubs/4.2/books/search-dev-guide.pdf>.

Unfortunatly we found nothing about it in the documentation. It only talks about boxes and circles. Is it possible to search polygons with search:search or is it mandatory to pass by cts:search() to do so for now? Thank you very much, -- PARISOT Mathieu Dépt.
