[http://developer.marklogic.com/media/demojam-logo.png]MarkLogic will hold the second round of its 2011 series of DemoJam competitions on April 26 at the MarkLogic User Conference opening reception (The first round is in Prague<http://developer.marklogic.com/news/xmlprague2011-demojam>). DemoJam started as an internal MarkLogic contest that we have expanded to include our developer community. Everyone is welcome to come get their demo on! If you haven't been to a DemoJam before, it's pretty simple: Each demo must be no more than 5 minutes and must be relevant to one or more of these topics: * Unstructured data * Big data * Search * Webapps * XML * Semantic web * Mobile development * Social media * Metadata * And, of course, MarkLogic Server. Because of the great enthusiasm this event receives, we put a ceiling on the number of demos to be presented. Submit your demo now and we will invite the top proposals to compete at the User Conference event. Submit your demos by April 1st (no joke) to demojam at marklogic dot com Submissions should include a brief textual description of the demo. You're welcome, but not required, to provide screen shots or screen casts as well. MarkLogic will provide an Internet connection and presenters are required to bring their own laptops.
