Hi Ambika, This function returns the locks for all documents in the specified collection(s). So if you have a collection called "foo" and "a.xml" and "b.xml" were in that collection, then this would return any locks on those documents. If there were no locks, it would return an empty sequence.
Lock documents are used in libraries like document library services (DLS) to make is to one user can lock a document, allowing only the user that locked the document to update it (or a user with the admin role). -Danny From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of ambika arumugam Sent: Thursday, March 31, 2011 1:14 AM To: General MarkLogic Developer Discussion Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] xdmp:collection-locks Hi all, i would like to know the use of xdmp:collection-locks in getting the locks of documents in a collection.
