Hi James, Here are a couple of references that might be useful:
Eric White, who's a big OOXML advocate, has a series on his blog of transforming WordprocessingML to XHTML. He uses C# instead of XQuery, but his posts can help you to understand what needs to be done. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ericwhite/archive/2008/10/20/eric-white-s-blog-s-table-of-contents.aspx#Open_XML_to_XHtml Also, there's an Open XML Document Viewer project on codeplex that might be useful. It's an open source browser plugin to render Open XML docs as HTML. http://openxmlviewer.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Technical%20Overview Rick From: general-boun...@developer.marklogic.com [mailto:general-boun...@developer.marklogic.com] On Behalf Of James Garrett Sent: Monday, August 08, 2011 1:07 PM To: general@developer.marklogic.com Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Microsoft Word / SharePoint Connector - Formatting in Browser Hello All- I'm a developer new to MarkLogic working on a project where Microsoft Word Documents are hosted on a Sharepoint installation with a custom workflow which "pushes" content to ML 4.1-6. From here, I'm trying to figure out how to get the Word Document to display via a HTTP application and mirror what an end user sees in Microsoft Word 2007. Does anyone know of tutorials which cover how to deliver ooxml to the browser formatted correctly? -James Garrett 407.982.5369 ja...@jamesg.net<mailto:ja...@jamesg.net>
