The easiest way is to do a cts:or-query for both "12a-1" and "12a1". Basically expand the user's search to include the various ways the identifier could be written.
Make sure you have fast phrase search on, to allow searches for "12a-1" to be better optimized because that's tokenized as two words in a phrase. -jh- On Nov 5, 2011, at 12:59 AM, indar verma wrote: > Hi , > > in search I have to include - punctuation in search. > > xml content > <book> > <title> some text xx yy 12a-1</title>.......... > </book> > > if I will search 12a1 or 12a-1 then result (match) should come. > > Please help me . > > Regards, > Indy > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > General mailing list > [email protected] > http://developer.marklogic.com/mailman/listinfo/general
