This is tricky.
What is the differences between your app that works and your app that doesn't ?
One thing that jumps out at me is I never use the scheme xdbc:// but rather
xcc://
A quick try may be illuminating use
xcc://mluser:[email protected]:8009
Also are you *sure* you are using the same version of XCC JAR file in your app
as in the example case that works ?
