Hi,
I have developed a search application on top of App builder. This is working fine in local and intranet. But the same is not working with Public IP or on Internet. Could you please let me know how to resolve this issue ASAP? To see what paths ML is looking for, check assignments.xml; e.g.: <assignment> <forest-name>rsuite-appa</forest-name> <enabled>true</enabled> <host>6010879124863082409</host> <data-directory>c:\projects\appa\data</data-directory> <updates-allowed>all</updates-allowed> <failover-enable>false</failover-enable> <failover-hosts/> <forest-id>11804713071568347248</forest-id> <forest-backups/> <forest-replicas/> </assignment> When the <data-directory> node is empty, ML uses the default data directory, as shown for the forests that are available. -Brent From: <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] [ <mailto:[email protected]> mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] Sent: Friday, September 28, 2012 6:30 AM To: <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] Cc: <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] Subject: Re: [MarkLogic Dev General] Forests in a Database not getting mounted, throwing "XDMP-FORESTMNT:" exception Hi Sriram, I have tried to resolve the Forests unmounted issue today. With the following response i got from support forum, it sounds more like a infrastructure issue. Can you please look at it ?Attached is the unmounted status of all the forests of PCE database. --- Hi, I think that the problem lies in the "Read only file system" bit. Does MarkLogic has sufficient rights to write to the filesystem? Not being able do it is the problem in my opinion. Any action on the database, throws an exception "XDMP-FORESTMNT: Forest <<forest-name>> not mounted: disconnected". I tried all the following possibilites, 1. Restarting MarkLogic Server 2. Remapping forests to the problematic database 3. Restarting all the forests to problematic database All of them showing errors in Errorlog.txt, "Error: NullAssignment::localMount: SVC-FILWRT: File write error: open '<<some-forest-path>>': Read-only file system". Any suggestions to resolve this? (version 1.0.2) and ?excel-lib.xqy?). These were perfectly working fine with Excel 2007. But when these are being opened with excel 2010, following are the inconsistent behaviors. 1. Sheet is opened with a message "Excel found unreadable content in <<file-name>>. Do you want to recover contents of this workbook". Upon clicking "yes", its recovering content and displaying clearly with a second informative dialogue saying "Excel completed file level validation and repair. Some parts of this workbook may have been repaired or discarded." 2. Sometimes it is saying that "Workbook cannot be opened because it is corrupted". I have gone through different forums on this 2007 vs 2010 version compatibilites for content. None of them worked. Can someone let me know the solution for fixing this issue if you have encountered such issue anytime. The latest release includes support for Office 2010 in addition to 2007.
