Hi Gurbeer, The search function uses the query to look for maches in the children of the element provided. So in the second case, nothing is return, because there are no children elements matching the query. Is "ccid" subling of the "division" element? In the first case, the query gives result because there are children matching the query as the "head" is up in the tree compare to the "division" snd probably it is parent of both ccid and division .
