Varun,

I think the short answer is no. Generalized XML comparison is a difficult problem. There are several open source and commercial tools available, but it can still be tricky if your documents are complex.

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Comparison between two different versions of same document

Hello All,

I am working on a application which require comparisons among different versions of documents.
Suppose I have a xml document name doc_1.xml and another doc_2.xml (which is nothing but new release of the doc_1.xml). Now I want to compare both the document and want to see where the changes occur.

Is there a built in function in marklogic which can compare two different versions of xml document.

Thanks,
Varun
