I almost never tune *any* of the database in-memory limits. Increasing them often causes problems due to higher memory utilization. The only functional reason to increase the in-memory range limit is if documents can't be inserted due to an error with XDMP-INMMINDXFULL. But don't panic if you see XDMP-INMMINDXFULL in debug-level log messages: that isn't an error.
