Hi Prince, Your question on stackoverflow was closed, but David Lee did provide an answer:
"Setup both machines for either DNS or /etc/hosts. Make sure from both machines you can ping the other machine using the same machine name. Then you should be able to join a cluster." I wondered, did you try entering IP numbers instead of host names? The machines should still be able to ping each other, but that might save you the hassle of getting host names known on both ends. You might need to change host name in the admin interface on both nodes too, by the way. Haven't tried this..
