Hi, I have a customer that has a lot of range elements (50-56) with 6GB of memory. Their data is not so big yet (4 forests at 38GB with 5.5MM documents and 5.5MM fragments) but it just seem odd why they have so much Range Elements. is there a way to pinpoint how these range elements actually affects the data in its performance? My previous project hda 2TB of data and we only had 8-10 Range Elements. They said that MarkLogic came here on site and created those range elements and are not sure why is there so much of it.
What's a reasonable amount for these range elements to have within the size of your data? any advise is apprecited. ~~Bob
