Hi Manoj,

You could do xdmp:estimate(collection()) if you are only interested in
number of documents. If you want to know more, then I’m afraid you will
need to accumulate that yourself, by iterating through
xdmp:database-forests<http://docs.marklogic.com/xdmp:database-forests>
()..

Kind regards,

Geert

Hi Geert,

Thanks for your quick reply. I have tried xdmp:forest-status but i could
not find the count of documents stored in a particular database.

Is there any other function which gives that info.

Thanks,

Manoj.

Hi Guys,

Can anyone help me in getting the database status in marklogic.

I can view the status from admin screen where i can see document size, no
of fragments and other properties.

Is there any function in ML where i can get all the properties?

Thanks,

Manoj Viswanadha.
