Do you have the element-value-positions index turned on (which, IIRC, may also require that word-positions and element-word-positions be enabled)? Depending on the structure of your documents, I think this may be necessary for completely accurate unfiltered queries.

The value that it is matching on is:  '[Folders].[Orders].[OrderDate]'      (starting bracket)
 
Any reason why the bracket is being ignored?   (using version 6.0-4.1)
