Abhishek, I suppose this is a windows machine which MarkLogic is running on, and MLCP runs on the same machine.
I would run the following command in a command prompt with Admin privilege netstat -a -b >C:\netstat.txt Open C:\netstat.txt and see which process is using the port 8013. I would also check the hostname used in the MarkLogic Server specified in admin page(open localhost:8001). Compare that host name in the admin page with the host name shown in the error message Default provider - Not a usable net address: HOST_NAME:8013 This information may help diagnose the issue.
