Casey,
Setting up separate content, modules, schemas, and triggers databases for each
client is what we have done. In our case all user management is being done
against a single Security database. Although I guess you could set up separate
security databases for each client. I'm not sure how that would work though.

became a little unclear to me as to how I query a specific database (couldn't
find an example of this in the docs), or manage users, triggers, schemas etc
