Here are some ideas, none tried, but maybe one will work. Try introducing an error in the run (bad xml file maybe? just kill it?). See if the earlier files get commited. Enable debug level messages in mlcp and/or finest in the server. Maybe it tells you exactly when they are commited. Set the db to automatically maintain last-modified. Check the times. Watch and count in qconsole. See if the commit sizes match up with the count sizes and (maybe) the debug messages. If you are watching, maybe set to only one mlcp thread to simplify things. Hmmm.
