Hi, Devesh:
That's right. The approach is summarized here:
http://docs.marklogic.com/guide/java/resourceservices
In your case, you would write a REST resource service in XQuery to expose DLS
as CRUD services and install the XQuery library on the server. Then, in Java,
you would subclass ResourceManager to call your CRUD services.

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Java API for library services
Hi,
Looking into the Java API for Marklogic, I could not find any for the document
library services. I was thinking of extending the API using the
ResourceExtensionsManager and related classes. Is it the correct way or are
there any other alternates. Please suggest.
Thanks and regards,
Devesh Tyagi
