My Name Srinivas Guptha. Ive been working on PHP, CakePHP(framework on PHP) since 2 years. Recently we came with a decision to work on MarkLogic DB instead the conventional MySQL DB that everyone uses. The reason behind this is we are getting huge amount of data every day. You can go through the project www.amlooking4.com . Ive downloaded the MarkLogic8 and also associated PHP SDK from the github repository and everything working fine like write, read, retrieve etc. But am facing problems in using qbe i.e Query By Example. Ive explored the api files and got to know there is nothing related to qbe. And PHP / MLPHP is not mentioned in the list of connectors for MarkLogic8. Now, my questions are Ø whether MarkLogic8 supports PHP or not? Ø If Yes, Why didnt they provided the mechanism for qbe? Ø When can I expect the release of MLPHP for MarkLogic8?
