Hi Shashidhar,

While creating xdbc server , in database drop down field it shows all databases which you have created manually and some default(like fab, documents etc). 

So, its depend on you which database you want to choose,  your own created database or documents. Its good to create your own database with some sensible name. After creating database(and forest), created database name will be reflect in database drop down field under XDBC server and you can select that name. 

In your case, i think "database" or "database rest modules" named database is also created manually because there is no default database provided with these name.

I am confused whether to load data into database or database rest modules .
When you create xdbc server there is a drop down from where you can load to database or to the database rest modules.

What's the difference?

We are using Marklogic 7.
