Hi Johann, You cannot use MLCP for that purpose, as db and server settings are stored outside databases. You could look into the capture feature of Roxy though. I have written two blog articles about that not so long ago: http://grtjn.blogspot.nl/
You can also look into using curl against manage and package apis. They are well documented: http://docs.marklogic.com/REST Cheers, Geert From: <Diedrick>, Johann <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Reply-To: MarkLogic Developer Discussion <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 8:25 PM To: "[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] Exporting Database Configs from MLCP Hello- I was wondering if there was a way to export database config files found in the Configuration Manager from the command line. I think MLCP is the tool to do this, but as far as I know it is only used for exporting content from the database. I’m not sure if it can be used to export database config files in the Configuration Manager. If there is a way to do this with or without MLCP, I would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks in advance, -Johann
