I've sent a query to ML support for the formal word on this, but since we have someone who was just about to upgrade a development system here from Red Hat Enterprise 5 to RHEL 7 until I realized that the system requirements for ML 7 and 8 do not include RHEL 7 as a supported platform, I thought I'd see if anyone out there is in fact running ML 8 on RHEL 7 and whether any issues have emerged.
Of course if the wisest course is to stick with RHEL 6 that's what we'll do.
