I have a database full of names and titles. I also have search functionality that given a name or title tried to search for a match where I can use case and punctuation insensitive searches, but I’m not aware of any features that would find a match when a word is misspelled. For example if I enter a title containing a misspelling, e.g., “Washingotn,” I would like to find matches with “Washington.” What techniques are available for doing this and are ranked results possible?
