Hi, I recently spent a sleepless night debugging a similar issue at one of my clients. It turned out that client had a bug in a CPF process which was locking documents but instead of timing out after the bug occurred the CPF process never timed out. This caused documents to be locked indefinitely because the process continued to stay alive.
The way I discovered this was to go to the monitoring dashboard (eg. http://localhost:8002/dashboard/ ) and to see what was generating the longest running queries. Hope that helps. When I put the lock trace event it just gives me the numbers for waiting, holding, blocking etc. Is there a way to find which process is holding the file? 2016-02-03 09:45:28.369 Info: [Event:id=Lock Trace] forest=consynContentForest-13 uri=/repo/user/quantifind/alerts.xml waiting=12164363046587517933 holding=18429539722387502200 blocking=13021468673001868980 2016-02-03 09:45:28.369 Info: [Event:id=Lock Trace] forest=consynContentForest-13 uri=/repo/user/quantifind/alerts.xml waiting=12164363046587517933 holding=18429539722387502200 blocking=13021468673001868980 Thanks, Durai.
