Hi Jeff,

I guess you want the cluster to be fully down when doing so, but sounds rather 
obvious. Next to make sure is that hostnames are still valid. The hostnames 
that are recorded inside MarkLogic are the names used by MarkLogic instance to 
find each other. If you have names in there, just make sure the names stay the 
same, and point to the new IP’s. If the hostnames are actually IP’s, you might 
need to fix those after migrating and launching the cluster. Should be just a 
matter of updating the host names, and you should be good..

Subject: [MarkLogic Dev General] re IPing ML Servers

WE are going to have to move around some of our ML servers which will include 
re-IPing … and I was curious if there were any ‘gotchas’ or issues  ML would 
have around doing this? Has anyone done this and experienced any fall out we 
should try to avoid?
