Hi Jeff, The tricky bit will be to migrate the master node. If you attempt to leave first host from the cluster, you’ll get a message like:

You will have to migrate all forests attached to any of the old nodes, to one of the new hosts, make one of the new ones bootstrap host, and only then the initial master (as well as the others) can leave the cluster. Apart from that it sounds like a valid plan. You may want to think carefully on how to migrate forests to a different host. Do you want to use rebalancing for that? Don’t forget to migrate license keys, by the way..
