Hi Arvind, The warning really should say, "Potential deadlock detected then fixed by automatically restarting one of the update statements so don't worry about this message unless you see bad performance and are wondering if maybe it's due to too much deadlock fixing."
I assume you're seeing no problems in behavior, just some scary warning messages. You can ignore the warning messages. The "Inside MarkLogic Server" paper covers locking and deadlocks, if you're curious what's going on internally.
