I created an REST instance @port 8100. The default http configuration for authentication is digest and default user is nobody. When I pass the following curl command it throws 401 unauthorized error. curl --anyauth --user admin:admin -X PUT -d "<input/>" -H "Content-type: application/xml" http://localhost:8100/v1/documents?uri=/shakespeare/plays/a_and_c.xml Even if I replace --anyauth with --digest it throws the same error. Also if I change the default user to admin and keep authentication to digest in admin, and try to run the same curl command it throws the same error. Basically if I keep authentication to digest, it throws 401 unauthorized error message. I want to use digest in my application. How shall I proceed to it? Best, Nikunj Vekariya
