Thanks David, have two more doubts
1. If I go ahead with internal KMS do I need to renew my license or buy
any license.
2. Do I need set any Key's for internal KMS or Mark Logic itself
handles the key management and encryption.

Hi Team,
Currently I am using Mark Logic 7 and I try to upgrade it to Mark Logic 9, I
need to enable encryption in Database level, In the Marklogic 9 Document I
found the following things
To enable encryption at rest, a license key that includes encryption at rest
security is required. For details on purchasing a license key for the
encryption at rest feature, contact your MarkLogic sales representative.
How do I check my license key is with Encryption feature or not ?
Do I use my old license key ?
If suppose my old license key is without Encryption feature, I need to enable
encryption feature in the license Key means how much I need to pay ?

Hi Siva. Advanced Encryption is a feature that was introduced with MarkLogic 9,
so your MarkLogic 7 license key will not be encoded for it. It's part of a
separate option called Advanced Security. I've forwarded your email to the
appropriate folks in MarkLogic who can help you move forward.

Hi Siva, one correction: Encryption with an external KMS is part of the
Advanced Security option. Encryption with the MarkLogic internal wallet is not.
