smoutput (or echo) does output to the console. This works on your iOS by putting the output in the console window.
So what you have is J iOS as documented (pretty minimally) with the ? button. JHS is not involved. Dig in and you will pobably figure things out like how to use hbutton and write html to the html view. There are other users of these devices and when you get stuck use the forum.
