This is a bug, and Find Top was intended to be the default, with Find Next the default after the first use of Enter. Fixed now.
Arrow keys move focus around once focus has left the text entry fields. I don't think there is an easy way to remap up/down when the focus is in the text entry field, since any subsequent change in the text entry field would restore the original default button.
