Another option would be to launch a browser window visiting the jijx url at
the same time that jhs is launched (or at the same time a launch is
attempted and fails due to jijx already being launched).

There's also the possibility of tunneling out to another system, and that
can take a few extra steps, and presumably requires a bit more
documentation and hand-holding.

Still, there's something to be said for console windows. They have a sort
of retro coolness that some people really appreciate (and others dislike -
everyone has different tastes).
