My request would be to let the input log length be configurable or default to a much larger size. Yes, that means it would include all my mistakes, but currently the input log only keeps my recent mistakes while pushing out earlier entries.

Part of the problem of logging all output is that it would include all the junk from mistakes made. What I use instead are the source scripts, that can be rerun on demand. To make a copy of the output, use Ctrl+Shift+F10 to clear the terminal and run the script that is open. Then Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C in the terminal to copy it. Would this suit your needs?
