I updated viewmat addon for iOS. Please follow instructions in
Guides/iOS jwiki to install iospacman (again) and restart J. I
tested dyad viewmat (your example) on iPhone 3gs (iOS 5) worked.
It now uses the same viewmat as that on desktop, try,
viewmat i.256 256
and
viewmat (] +./ .*. |:) 3&#. inverse i.243
