Generally, "noun noun" is an error but this can be confusing because
   2 2
looks like this but isn't: "2 2" is one noun. So, this
   (2 2) (2 2)
gives a syntax error because it's a pair of nouns separated by a space,
whereas this
   2 2 2 2
is fine because it's one noun.
