Do a search and replace in a jqt script file.

Then do another search and replace, but replace a frequently occurring
string with the empty string - just the first half of the occurrences.

In my current copy of jqt, after the first replace, the replace
reverts to the prior value. Very frustrating.

Anyone know how to fix this?
