Looking for alternative audible warnings on the Mac, I came across a

My favourite, and the one that works best for me, is:
2!:1 'say beep'
It's a bit precious, but suggests ways of issuing meaningful status
reports from apps under development without cluttering the J session.
How about this? :-D
