Murray, Mac also has an accessibility panel in its system preferences that is helpful for the visual presentation. Worth looking into, but the short story is that (OPT CMD =) zooms in, while (OPT CMD -) zooms out and (OPT CMD 8) toggles back and forth to whichever zoom level is set centred on your current mouse position.
