Thank you. I am confused by the difference between script and binary files. I presume binaries look like junk and script files are more or less readable? If so, jqt certainly looks like a binary file. Typing as suggested gives a "cannot execute binary file" notice. Everyone has x permission. However if, in the bin folder, I type "sudo ./jqt" it outputs "syntax error: "(" unexpected". Presumably the shell tried to run the binary file as a script? One very confused newbie!
Similar answers for both ./jqt and bin/jqt

RPi 2 is loaded with wifi and lots of programs - that all work well. I fear that I am typing an incorrect command?
