Hi Murray !
The download site is here:
http://www.2bestsystems.com/foundation/j/jx1.1/
libj.dylib must be the the file to replace with either libj.se or
libjavx.so.
If it doesn't work you'd have to take the J source, add the patch and
compile for MAC.
Unless Mario or someone else compiles a MAC version for you.
You also need the correct BETA version, the one jx1.1 is compiled for,
or it probably will not work as it should.
I think you need the 2017-10-06 beta version.
Cheers,
Erling Hellenäs

Can anybody answer this - how to install Jx under macOS?
A previous answer, by Jose Mario Quintana, says that for Linux, rename
bin/llibj.so and replace it “with the appropriate”.
1. Under macOS, not such thing in bin as libj.so. Is lib.dylib the
corresponding file.
2. Whatever the appropriate bin file is for macOS, replace it with WHAT? The
downloads for Jx seem to consist of just jx.patch and Jx Asserionts.js (aside
from the cheatsheet pdf).
P.S. What is the download site for Jx? I cannot find it now: a Google web
search turns up just all kinds of things totally unrelated to J; a search
within the J wiki returns something totally different.
P.P.S. Comment: the downside of the language name, “J”, is that Google web
searches for pertinent information on J are usually totally useless.

I’ve downloaded what seems to be available for Jx (1.1):
jx.patch
Jx Assertions.js_
(and Jx 1.1 Cheatsheet.pdf)
But how does one install Jx ??
