the JVERSION verb does not make it obvious.  (there is no mention of avx like 
the 64 version with avx)
Is there another way to tell?

I think the J32 systems are all nonavx. Is their evidence to the contrary?

The zip installers are pretty lean. They depend on your following the
install steps as documented. Those steps include a pacman update that would
get all the jqt bits and pieces.
