I would add my modest support to the iOS project -- I contribute a bit to
Jsoftware from time to time (when my conscience prompts me :-) and I could
increase that a bit. I like having J on my phone and use it often in minor
ways, but I have not really solved the issue of moving data easily back
and forth from other computers. But the computing power and storage of smart phones is really impressive & I feel J could be used for much more on them.

I don't think this is a fruitful way to work on this problem.

I suspect Jsofware helping to set up a gpl repo for J iOS is the way to go.
This will take some time to get in place. And then it will only work if
there is effort put into the project.

And it’s a long while since I chipped in any monetary contribution for J,
and I’ve stopped paying for a Dyalog licence, so could match Jim once or
twice if required.

701 on my iPhone and iPad is important, meaning I would be willing to kick
in $100 or so from my social security check for an iOS upgrade.
